Nature and Health

It’s been a while between posts but I’m back today to proudly share with you yet another instalment of my Nature & Health Eco Style column and a little bit of very exciting news that serendipitously links with the gym theme.

This issues column was all about showcasing the very best labels for aesthetics, ethics, and function for mindfully active people. Brands featured were chosen for their love of people, planet, and good design. I really enjoyed researching and writing this column because functional (non-see-through) active-wear is a cause I take very seriously as a yogi and a gym enthusiast.

This article appeared in the February-March 2018 issue of Nature & Health, Australia’s original and best natural health magazine, www.natureandhealth.com.au

Why Sustainability in Style Has Been a Bit Quiet.

You’ve been hearing it a little bit here and on social media, but here it is again. I’m not missing I promise! Sustainability in Style is undergoing a very exciting transformation. I’ve been hard at work behind the scenes to turn these fabulous blog bones into a unique interactive sustainable lifestyle space. One of the foundations of this space is Eco Style Insiders members area that hosts a variety of lifestyle tools (yoga, meditation, creativity courses, DIY’s and so much more) with a focus on personal development and empowerment though Sustainability Education.

Though Eco Style Insiders is still a few weeks (and an insurance policy set up) away from being launched I’ve kindly had the lovely Vanessa, owner of Fernwood Fitness Maroochydore (that serendipitous Gym link) reach out and link me with Erin Barnes of Next Generation Wellness to start teaching some Sustainable Style and Living courses at gorgeous The Wellness Hub at Fernwood Maroochydore. I’m feeling so grateful for this vote of confidence in my business and research mission and will share more with you as it unfolds. The best way to learn about this is by signing up to the newsletter below.
