Today’s yoga class is an intro to moon salutation, Chandra Namaskar. The flow is broken down into a slow intro and there’s a balance challenge to keep you on your toes in the second round.
A science side note. Ever heard of your period being called your ‘moon time’? This came from the myth that period cycles were in sync with the moon. While I’m not going to claim that yoga will solve all your problems, there is some science (a great meta-analysis lit review here) to say that yoga can help with period pain. So, if it’s that ‘moon time’ of the month for you, why not give the moon flow a go!
